Master the Waiting Game.Trading education in patience, risk management and structured trade planning.
The hardest skill in trading is not finding setups — it is standing down when the one in front of you does not match the plan you wrote. Waiting Game teaches that as a written process: define the setup in advance, size the position from the stop, and log the outcome in R — including the plans that never triggered.

Three outcomes
A win, a loss, and a trade we never took
Three entries, three different endings. The AUD/USD plan lost exactly 1R because size was set from the stop; the USD/JPY plan expired because its confirmation never formed. All three are logged with the same detail.

Transparent tracking
Performance methodology
Results are tracked in R-multiples — reward relative to risk — across every logged setup, including losses, breakevens and cancelled plans.
Illustrative demo data. Figures below are sample journal entries used to show how transparent tracking works — not a record of live trading results.
- Net R
- +5.5R
- sum of every closed outcome, wins and losses
- Avg planned R:R
- 2.5R
- reward vs risk as written at entry, not as realised
- Win rate
- 60%
- wins ÷ (wins + losses) — breakeven, open and cancelled excluded
- Journal entries
- 8
- including breakeven and cancelled plans
Read the four together, never one alone. A 60% win rate on 1:1 setups and a 40% win rate on 3:1 setups are different businesses; what separates them is expectancy — the average R per trade, which is what Net R accumulates. Win rate tells you how often you were right, not whether the process was worth running. Cancelled plans are counted for the same reason: choosing not to trade is a decision the record has to carry.
The method
Five questions a plan must answer before it is published
The journal template is the curriculum. If an idea cannot answer all five in writing, it does not get logged.
Thesis
One sentence: what has to be true for this idea to exist. Written before entry, so it cannot be edited afterward.
Invalidation
The price that proves the thesis wrong. If you cannot name it, there is no trade to take.
Risk
Size is derived from the stop distance, never chosen first. Every entry risks 1R, so a loss costs exactly 1R.
Management
What gets scaled, trailed or left alone — decided in advance, not mid-candle.
Lesson
Written once the outcome is known, including on the plans that never triggered.
